Case Study – Maxillofacial Reconstruction
Ralph Fiore had part of his jaw removed during a battle with throat cancer, and his facial appearance post-surgery was shocking to both himself and his family. One year after the operation, his oncologist recommended Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons. The results were spectacular. “I felt Dr. Galbraith was looking at me as a person, as someone he could do something for rather than using me as a test case or as an experiment,” Ralph declared after his successful surgery. “Out of the places that I checked out, he’s the one I felt more comfortable with.”

Case Study – Dental Implants
Ed Blue discovered that something was amiss in his mouth after falling from a ladder. Dr. Ian Tingey of Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons performed a biopsy to find a malignant growth, and Ed went into cancer treatments. Before the cancer went into remission, it took out seven of Ed’s teeth, and he experienced several problems getting fitted for dentures. Once Dr. Tingey was convinced that the cancer was in remission, he reconstructed Ed’s teeth. “If it weren’t for Dr. Tingey doing his work and knowing what he was doing, I would not be here today,” claimed Ed.
