The doctors who comprise “CTMAX”, enjoy long lived reputations for their experience and surgical ability, dedication to quality patient care and sensitivity to the individual.
Three of our doctors have academic teaching appointments, and one has served on the Advisory Committee of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for a full term of six years.
Three of our doctors are certified by that same board. The practice itself is renown throughout New England for its experience and expertise in the surgical treatment of developmental dentofacial deformities and temporomandibular joint disease (TMJ/TMD).
Ian C. Tingey, D.D.S. Ian was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1982 with a D.D.S. degree. He is currently a partner of Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons, L.L.C.
Barry R. McGuire, D.M.D. Barry was born and grew up in the New London area of Connecticut. He graduated from University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine with a D.M.D. degree in 1986. He is currently a partner in Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons, L.L.C.
Brett A. Weyman D.D.S. M.D. Brett was raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania until the completion of high school in 1989. Brett attended Villanova University for his undergraduate education and obtained his B.S. degree in Biology, graduating in 1993. He is currently a partner in Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons, L.L.C.Siobhan Stephen D.M.D. M.D. Siobhan attended Notre Dame for her undergraduate education. She then received her DMD degree from University of Connecticut before heading to Boston where she received her MD from Harvard and completed her training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mass General Hospital.
Nicholas Saggese D.M.D. Nicholas attended University of North Carolina, Greensboro where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Honors Chemistry. He then received his dental degree (DMD) from University of Pennsylvania, where he found his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Next, Nick trained at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, in Brooklyn, NY and graduated with his maxillofacial surgery certification in 2020.
