Dr. Ian Tingey Installed as CSOMS President

Dr. Ian Tingey, one of Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons longstanding partners, will be installed as President of the Connecticut Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons this evening. Dr. Tingey has been a long term activist in the organization, taking on many difficult roles over the past several years. His leadership is welcomed by all.

Learning Center Live Surgery

The CTMAX Learning Center held its first live surgical event recently on April 10th. More than 25 attendees watched a live demonstration of CAD/CAM assisted implant surgery as Dr. Ian Tingey placed 5 implants via a flapless or closed technique using CAD/CAM developed surgical guides. The surgery required no more than 30 minutes to complete and was narrated by Dr. David Galbraith.

"CTMAX Learning Center" Hosts a Live Surgical Event

The CTMAX Learning Center will host a live surgical event on Tuesday, April 10th, 2012. The event is intended to not only demonstrate the use of CAD/CAM surgery in the placement of dental implants but also review the treatment planning required to prepare for surgery of this complexity. Attendance to this event is by invitation only.

CTMAX Survives Worst Blackout in Decades

As a member of the northern Connecticut business community Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons, llc suffered the worst blackout in decades following the Halloween snow storm. We have returned and now enjoy a restoration of all business services. We hope that all of our readers are healthy and safe. CTMAX to Host All-Day Seminar for UCONN Residency

Connecticut Maxillofacial Surgeons will be hosting an all day seminar for the University of Connecticut Residency on Saturday, April 30th, 2011. The topic chosen for the day will be Orthognathic Surgery (realignment of the jaws through surgery) a treatment area that CTMAX is particularly well known for. The doctors of CTMAX have been dedicated to and a part of residency education for more than 35 years.
